在這瞬息萬變，災難頻發的時代裡，鑽研基督信仰的教義可能會讓人覺得有點無聊。或者當聽到“神學”這樣的詞彙的時候，有人會覺得不以為然，“神學”與我的現實生活有什麼關係呢？不過是像神學院這樣的“象牙塔”裡的人所鑽研的課題吧？難以想像的是，500多年前，卻有許多基督徒，為了捍衛什麼是最純正的教義和神學觀，而不惜付出生命的代價。

From my past pastoral letters, we can see that the pursuit of spirituality by believers is based on the fact that we are citizens

從之前幾篇文章，我們看到，信主的人對屬靈生命的追求，是基於我們是神國子民這個事實。在路加福音6:43-49，耶穌提出，神國子民所要培養的，是內心的純正和清潔，因爲好樹自然會結好果子。而要培養出神國子民的特質，我們便需要有一些能夠更新轉化我們內心的練習，一般稱之為屬靈操練。

The blockade of Canada’s capital, led by anti-vaccination and anti-lock-down truckers has paralysed the city for almost 3 weeks.

由反疫苗接種和反封鎖的貨車司機領導之示威使加拿大首都被堵塞以至該市癱瘓了近3周。這所謂「自由車隊」在世界多個國家引發了類似的示威活動，包括澳大利亞在內。他們的口號是爭取自由，違抗必須接受新冠疫苗的條例及封城規則。

雪梨華人長老會是雪梨(悉尼)歷史最悠久的華人教會，初時由澳洲(澳大利亞)長老宗的宣教士於1893年為向來澳尋金的中國礦工傳福音而設立。今天，本教會是一個多元文化，多代同堂的教會，熱切與各種各樣的人分享基督的福音。
